Your draft
You have a draft. Here is what happens next.
I made your draft from what your business already publishes. It is yours to keep or bin. If you would like it to become your real website, this is how that works, and what it costs.
Four steps
From draft to your website.
Tell me what to change
Reply to the email your draft came with, or use the form. Change anything: the words, the pictures, the order. Nothing is built until you say so.
You get: a draft that says what you want it to say.
One price, in writing
A fixed price for the whole site, agreed in writing before any work starts. If the answer is no, that is fine: the draft is yours to keep or bin.
You get: a fixed price, and no obligation.
Built, then checked on your phone
I build the whole site, and you see it on a private link before it goes anywhere near your domain.
You get: the whole site, to check before it goes live.
Live on your domain
It goes live on your domain, and I host it for a yearly fee. Every enquiry lands in one place you can sign in to.
You get: a live site, and every enquiry in one place.
What it costs
Paid for once. Hosted for a yearly fee.
The build is a fixed price for a fixed scope, agreed in writing before any work starts and paid once. Hosting is a yearly fee that covers running the site, the private enquiry area, measurement and keeping the platform current. There is no monthly software rental and no per-user charge.
Questions
The ones people ask about a draft.
Why did you make me a draft?
I look for local businesses that seem to have no website, or one that lets them down, and make a draft from what they already publish. Yours was one of them. The privacy page says exactly how I found you and what I keep.
Do I owe you anything for it?
No. The draft is yours to keep or bin, and nothing is owed for it.
Can I change the pictures?
Yes. Any picture in the draft that was generated is labelled as generated, and your own photographs can go in instead.
What about my current site?
It stays up until the new one is ready. I point your domain at the new site when you say so; nothing goes dark in between.
What if the answer is no?
Reply “no” to the email, and you will not hear from me again.
